Very excited to have found the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan!
The first book, The Ruins of Gorlan was a quick read. I couldn't put it down!
This tale is great at pulling you into the story as if you were standing right there the whole time, witnessing everything as the story enfolds. It had just the right balance between storyline, description and action.
I can't wait to read book 2 The Burning Bridge, but sadly, both the library's print copy and electronic copy are wait-listed, so I have to wait until they are returned to borrow it. :(
