Although I am lucky that I do not know anyone personally that this day is meant to remember, I am very grateful for all those that have indirectly affected my life by giving theirs.
Thank you to all the soldiers who have fallen and who are standing strong this day to protect me and my family and the freedoms and rights we, as Americans, enjoy.
I want to especially thank my brother and my sister who are at this moment serving in Iraq and Kuwait. Thank you for having the courage to stand up for our country and put your lives and dreams on hold for us. Thank you for your sacrifice of time with your own children, wife, family and friends; time that you will never get back. I love you both and pray that you will come home safely.
