ok, so I haven't been doing really well at keeping up with this
not like some of my friends.
but, i finally realized that i'm not them, so i shouldn't be comparing myself to them. when i find the time and energy and desire to post, i will do so. otherwise . . . .

i have just recently found out that I have two herniated disks in my neck, located at C3-C4 and C5-C6. the herniated disk at C5-C6 is pinching my nerve on the left side, which affects my left shoulder, arm and hand.
i was referred to a neurosurgeon, Dr. Omsberg, and he has said that i need to have surgery to correct the problem for two reasons
1. to relieve the pain and weakness in my left arm/hand.
2. to relieve the pressure on my spinal cord so as to prevent me from becoming paralyzed from the neck down.
i go into the office with Steve tomorrow to schedule the surgery. it should be within this month.

we've moved. our landlord was told by her landlord that he was selling his house and so she needed to move back into her home that she was renting to us. we found a beautiful place in the same town, so we're happy.
we've just about settled in. when i can find the batteries to put in my misplaced camera, i will take pictures and post them.
